International mother language daY

Post by vampirE on Thu Feb 21, 2008 2:26 am

Bangla si our mother tongue. We fought for this language. We shed blood for this. On this day in 1952, some bright student (Salam, Barkat, Rafique, jabbar, Shafiui ETC) of the country sacrificed their immature lives in the hands of the terroristic Pakistani army. This happened because the pakistani rules wanted to make Urdu the official language in this country. At last we won and established this language as a state language. The UNESCO has proclaimed February 21 as the international mother language day. The sacrifices of all the martyrs for championing the cause of their mother tongue have recieved now a glorious recognition by the people of the world. The day teaches the world people thar the Bangali nation can shed blood for their mother tongue and do whatever they like to do. We should uphold the mother tounge above all our interest.

This is for our martyrs......
